Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship – This scholarship program is to promote student achievement by recognizing students who show promise of continued excellence.
Qualifications: This scholarship has strict guidelines including a minimum of top 5% of your class. Please review the website thoroughly then see an advisor if you have further questions.

The Alice Sullivan Memorial Fund – The purpose of the fund is to sustain in perpetuity Alice Sullivan’s life, character and enthusiasm for girls athletics.
Qualifications: For female high school or potential collegiate athletes who express interest in coaching and/or officiating female sports; sponsoring speakers for female high school or collegiate events; sponsoring female high school workshops or conferences.
Amount: $750.00

Catherine T. Murray Scholarship (Rhode Island Foundation) – Qualified applicants must be Rhode Island residents with significant disability and seeking financial assistance for Post Secondary Education. This can include enrollment in an academic, trade, or vocational program, or the attainment of assistive/adaptive equipment or device to access such educational opportunity.
Amount: Applicants for this $1,000 scholarship will be screened by the Scholarship Advisory Committee.

National Kidney Foundation 2 possible scholarships
Academic Award: Student whose life has been directly impacted by Chronic Kidney Disease
Dottie Lourie Memorial Scholarship Individual whose life has been directly impacted by Chronic Kidney Disease or a life saving organ transplant
Award $1000 each
New England high school senior who has made a meaningful contribution to animal protection over a significant period of time
Award: $2000 payable to the college or university
No standardized application form to complete: Applications should be written in letter form and include a narrative of the student’s achievements in animal protection, as well as a discussion of his or her attitude toward animals.
Documentation of the activities cited, recommendations from at least 3 people and a description of future plans for humane work are required. Supporting letters from teachers, mentors, supervisors, peers and other observers are also helpful. In addition, applications should include the student’s home address and phone number
